Breath of the Wild: The Educational Game
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is an action-adventure game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U consoles.
BotW is the first open-world Zelda game that gives the player complete freedom to do as they please with Link, even more so than the classic first entry to the series: The Legend of Zelda. This freedom is larger than just stage by stage interaction with enemies or treasure hunting; so much larger, in fact, that the ending stage is accessible to the player right when the game begins. Nothing stops the player from going anywhere with Link, even if that anywhere is the final boss. However, the game does not explain the story if players choose to end the game once they start. If one wishes to know what has happened to Hyrule and how Calamity Ganon has risen to power, one must explore and find the truth themselves.
The combination of this unlimited freedom and the powerful silent bridge between protagonist and player the Zelda series routinely creates helps make Breath of the Wild the ideal educational game.

BotW’s freedom seamlessly brings out several gameplay and learning aspects in the game; aspects that constitute an excellent educational experience.
